I personally like having an interactive version of the dashboard if you are going to show me an image (im bias here as i do that on my landing page: landing page

I like the timeline bit, thought that was interesting. all of the images feel a bit low resolution.

your illustrations are nice, i like those :)

overall, seems cool! i don't really have any of those problems (yet, hopefully!), so a bit harder for me to comment on the strength of the calls to action / pain. but it seems reasonable to me that i would save time using your tool!

  • Don't you need to show integrations for cap table, employee management, etc? If I use Gusto/Deel/Carta/whatever, the first thing I'd look at would be if you work with my vendor

  • The use cases on the home page don't strike me as daily activities (aside from calendar) unless it was for a hyper-scale startup (onboarding a new team member, cap table management, etc.) but maybe I did it all wrong

  • Landing page is cool, I want to follow along

@steveb Thanks for the feedback, integrations are something I am considering, I am trying to position this as a tool to be used before using the big boys, something I need to think about more carefully. On point on the 3rd comment, I need to rethink it slightly.

What’s confusing? I'm not sure what "team management" means in the context of an "operations platform" that also handles "financials" and "investor relations", but I like the screenshots! (I do see it later explained.) And I really like the alternating split view and the black and red color contrast.


What’s missing? Where does all the data come from?


What’s great but buried? Nothing? The page flows well to me.


Would you actually sign up or bounce? Probably bounce, but only because I'm not in the target market (no team management, financials, or investor relations). If I were, I might want to see the demo.

@brian_arndt1 Thanks for the feedback. Nice to know if a need were present it would lead to a deeper look. Team management is probably too general a term, it acts as simple employee rooster with their details, salary (integrates to financials) and options (cap table). Assigning teams and managers gives a foundation for future development of team management tools (reviews, pips, targets etc...). I am in the early stages now and built it out of need.

  • Easy to scan

  • Communicate effectively what the product is

Areas to improve:

  • Not clear on who the ideal customer is: Startups can be 1 person to hundreds of employees and their needs varies tremendously

  • Not clear who the user is: Should all employees be added to this tool or only the founders, CFO?

  • Not clear on how are the data get to the tool. Integrations.

  • Because of how sensitive the data is, something about security would make me feel at ease

If I have to make an educated guess, this would be used by founders at seed to series A, before they hire dedicated CFO

  • There are many goal trackers- it seems like your messaging is that this particular goal method is better. Maybe you can add some case studies, screenshots, or more tangible examples. That'd also be a good SEO growth hack to create landing pages around weight loss and other popular goals and then users could "claim" them

  • One small tweak I'd consider is to add some sort of visual element to the hero section - this could be a visual of the platform itself, a short video. Just something to give the user an idea of what to expect after sign up.

But I'm worried for the height of the cookie consent bar, on large device like mine, it works well...but on a not so large one or a small windows laptop, I think its massive. My golden rule is I zoom to 150% to get the experience on small screens that arent mobile.

@troy_mcalpin1 I am quite impressed overall. Quite clear what it is (software development management tool), there is no annoying marketing fluff.

Another great point is that you are not trying to explain everything on the marketing site, and where the user might want to get into more detail the Learn More buttons take the user to the docs.

On the negative, it's not easy to find something, but let's try:


- The marketing site overall could be a tiny bit faster. Do we need 100+ web requests and 12MB of resources on the landing page load? Images could be converted to webp and probably shave off 30-40% of size with no visible loss in quality.


- on the above-the-fold area of the landing page, I wonder if we need to do a little more to give a quicker and wider overview of various key benefits. For example, under the Get it Now button, could have 4 little "Plan | Build | Run | Improve" labels with links to sections, or single sentence summaries for each.


- Alternatively, instead of the big screenshot on the right, maybe a 30-second video that does a high-level summary of the app would be better. This is a complex product and sometimes hearing someone explain what it is by walking you through a realistic way people use the app can be useful. For example in the video you could walk the user through the key concepts by showing how a team goes from an idea to scoping it out, assigning to a team, tracking, identifying issues, and deploying. In 30-60s to not make it boring and keep the user's attention.


- Finally.... and this is highly subjective and a more minor point... I get this feeling that your product is more polished and further down the startup journey than the website let's you believe on the initial visit. What I mean by that, is that even though the site is clean and well-structured, the design language is a little too.... minimalist... for the lack of a better word. Don't get me wrong, a simple and minimalist approach is great and personally, I love it, but I can see how people quickly opening the page might get a feel that this is a work-in-progress app built as a side project rather than a fully functional high-quality project management and feature tracking tool backed up by a great full-time team. If you are the designer reading this, sorry, this is not meant to be a criticism of the design which is clean, but more recognition of how people perceive value/quality due to exposure to a lot of tech sites that use the design language popularised by websites like Vercel, Linear, Supabase. yes all those sites look the same but people perceive that look with "High quality software I can trust".

So, I didn't really find many issues and have bookmarked your product for future evaluation for my own product management.

Edit: oh and love the idea of a public company Handbook!

- Solution: Add specific examples or visuals (e.g., screenshots or animations) demonstrating how Atono simplifies workflows compared to competitors.

2. Weak Call-to-Action (CTA):

- Issue: The CTAs are ok but don't provide immediate value or urgency.

- Solution: Reframe the CTAs to emphasize exclusivity or benefits, such as “Get early access to streamline your team’s workflow” or “Be the first to try Atono and boost your productivity.”

@troy_mcalpin1 I read the H1 and have no idea what you do. Also this cookie pop up is huge, I don't care about this shit. I scroll down I read the story, still no idea what you do, something about software. Stay on track section is where I start to get what you do. I don't see features section, benefits, testimonials.
In general I like the look and feel of the website and branding, however you can improve on copy and message. Also you can improve the homepage by adding more section that explain what your product does better then the competition. I hope that helps.

some feedback:


I went through the website report generation and it is really slow. It would be pretty hard for me to actually wait this long if it wasnt me trying to give you feedback. maybe just make it all async and send me an email with the report so you verify my email as well?

I think your copy is pretty clean and makes sense to me!

everyone has 4 star reviews so im not really sure why i should trust that social proof. Also i cant click it to go to see the reviews, so it feels even more fake

your nav bar takes up alot of space but has almost nothing in it


I normally go straight to pricing once i think i might be interested. would be nice to have a button for that.

honestly i think this whole thing is really cool and I found it quite interesting!

the report with some data redacted seems like a really great way to get me to convert.

I think the main this missing for me is understanding why you are an expert or should be trusted.

Show me why i should believe you with some story about your personal experience, or some case studies, or some reviews or ...

Basically it all seems legit, but i want a strong reason to believe you.

@mzkvisuals yeah to be clear the report does create a ton of value. im not sure how its happening behind the scenes (are you actually just making them in real time by hand haaha??), but you could possibly stream in sections at a time.

i.e if its fast to determine my pageload speed, maybe start giving me parts of the report while the others generate.

just an idea, no idea if technically feasible.

Some small things I noticed:
- the top margin above the hero title seems unnecessarily large - I guess if you are on a 32inch monitor the video might fit above the fold, but on my 27inch one its cut off but would fit if the top margin was smaller.
- Grammar mistake in the copy "Multiple businesses have rely on GeniusGate to elevate their messaging..."
- The point about chatGPT "No context information and brand voice in consideration" might not be entirely true - I can use projects which have my project documents and rules about brand, company terminology, tone of voice etc.
- design a little too dark for my taste but that's highly subjective so not much of a point.
- the success story screenshots of GA don't seem too convincing: i.e. the previous period graph does not seem that much different taking into account potential for random variation between two periods. Also just takes a while to parse and understand what I am looking at with the GA screenshots.

Otherwise looks great - will bookmark and might test it out for my website.

The best feedback is the most direct, and that's what matters most. I can deffo get the H1 readjusted. I'll raise this to my developer to get changed. The rest would be harder as I put the features in the video and in the stack card effect: the screenshots are from the software.

@andriusbartulis I understand it's something about forms and for developers, so it ain't for me and I can't understand further. Anyway I like how simple and neat the whole page but it lacks soul. Just add 1 image of the product on a macbook, or a graphic or a person, just 1 thing and it will give it a soul and complicate the orange color. Also you have one logo in header and another in footer. The one in footer is much better as it's simple and clean.

@mzkvisuals thanks a lot for the detailed feedback! this is actually really useful - great idea on a stylized screenshot or a few. I like what Linear does on their homepage with screenshots and use them as design elements rather than just slapping a picture in.

Yeah our old logo is quite heavy. I am thinking to redesign it as the bottom one uses an off-the-shelf SVG so don't want to really base a logo off that but the idea is simple and will try applying it to the new logo.

@catt_marroll Did you just typed the logo My Finance and were like, dude I gotta give something extra to make it look more like a logo not just text then change the e to é and were like... I'm a fuckin genious :D Other then this I have nothing else. The design is very simple and streightforward, so it's fast as well. Maybe just consider creating a logo at some point to add an identity to the whole thing.

  • I think drilling into a case study with one of the big logos would be more effective than quotes

  • The sample agent was choppier and less natural sounding than some of the newer voice AI demos I've done recently, just a note

  • It was unclear to me how I'd plug this into an actual call center and not just a chatbot. The verbiage around missed calls made me think that was important.

@steveb thank you for the feedback! Yes those logos are for real...we've been very fortunate to work with some strong brands this early on.

Your last point is valuable as well I need to find a way to add clarity this. We're a platform where you can build and customize voice agents. These agents can interact with to existing calendars and CRMs in order to automate most tier 1 and tier 2 workflows over the phone. They can either live on a website in form of a voice bubble like what's on our own website or can be hosted on a phone number through Twilio or other providers.

  • The layout is nice, but the header bar blends with the page due to lack of initial contrast.

  • The video sample would be more effective if it showed someone making the appointment on the phone, rather than just audio and subtitles.

  • Learn more through an AI Workshop: Where?

  • Preview is helpful, but requiring Twilio should be stated clearly beforehand, as it's a blocker.

    • I can't finish the trial now because I don't have a Twilio account.

here are some thoughts!

1. there are a lot of different fonts -- probably not a big deal, but it would be nice to remove some
2. the cards are a bit inconsistent -> the accordian doesnt have a box shadow and the No soup has no border radius
3.

this just looks a bit strange on mobile

its super interesting in general! I feel like you will bifurcate your visitors and I think someone who doesn't know the show will be very confused. If thats acceptable to you, then i think its a very memorable site!

Believe it or not, that was actually intentional - a bit of a throwback to when I first started coding .NET in the 2010s. It also nods to the aesthetic of that era; with everything being SaaS now, I feel also like there's so little dev work in traditional applications anymore.

  • Wow is this super meta to get roasted on what seems to be a community feeedback product?

  • Landing page is clean and makes a ton of sense

  • The image on the hero is so noisy it's hard to tell what the value is from the community. With only one comment, it seems like it's hard to tell what's what

  • No pricing makes me suspicious, just my two cents. I'd actually want to pay for this so that everyone in the group is "serious"

  • 70,000 and 20,000 numbers are wildly different, are these real?

@onbing Well, Yan... my first impression is "this must be a crowded space, how does this stack up?" Scrolling the home page, I wanted a tight "How it works" to give me a sense of what I'm getting in to. Then I started noticing some really unfortunate word breaks in some of your subheads. Hon
estly, this really turned me off. And when I tried changing window size, I saw no responsiveness. These two observations anchored in my mind the sort of unfortunate designs your app will produce, hence... gotta bounce.

@onbing Not sure if the main font doesnt load or your specifically selected a Serif font, but it's killing me. It doesnt feet at all to the whole branding. Makes your website feels cheap
